If you're in search of a weekend getaway or simply have a taste for adventure, Giang Dien Waterfall in Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province, is the place to go. Trảng Bom is a rural district of Đồng Nai Province in the Southeast region of Vietnam. Located on National Highway 1, Giang Dien Waterfall Park is located about 1 hour from Ho Chi Minh City and about 60 minutes from Bien Hoa. Giang Dien boasts of a “green environment” which is ideal for outdoor activities such as camping. Guests can hike around the place while taking pictures of the breathtaking nature surrounding the area. Suspension bridges and tilt houses add further beauty and interest to the site.

The park's main attraction is the man-made waterfall, although it didn’t look it. Visitors can climb on the rocks and let the cool water refresh their bodies on hot days. There are tent-like canopies around the falls that are available to rent for the day to get out from under the sun and enjoy a picnic. There are also lounge chairs to relax on. The park also has a large lake with paddle boats and other toys. There are gardens to explore, 3 restaurants, and tents to rent for overnight guests. The tents sit on raised platforms and have a tarp covering to protect them from rain. It is a nice clean park, with adequate showers and toilets and very well maintained. It is a great place to escape from the city and relax for the day or the weekend with a loved one.

Things to do in Giang Dien. Cat Tien National Park covers over 270 square miles of lowland tropical forest and swamp and is home to numerous birds and mammals. It is approximately 160 km (100 miles) northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, from which it is accessible in 3-4 hours. There are many mammals to see, including the endemic golden-cheeked gibbon, bears, elephant, gaur, Germain's peacock pheasant, bar-bellied pitta, and the rare endemic orange-necked partridge.

Buu Long Mountain is an hour's drive from Ho Chi Minh City and 20 minutes from Bien Hoa. It is not a top site for tourists passing through, but it fits well for people spending a month or more in Ho Chi Minh City and wanting to get out into nature and obtain the fresh air and good walking. It would take about three hours to walk around the lake, stopping for water and taking pictures.

Buu Phong Temple is a historic 17th-century Buddhist temple in Đồng Nai Province in southern Vietnam, north of Ho Chi Minh City. The temple is located on Bửu Long mountain in Bình Điện, Tân Bửu, it's also known as Bình Điện Temple. Away from the hustle-bustle of Ho Chi Minh city, Buu Long Temple is located on an isolated land surrounded by a forest and scanty residences. The most stunning view here is the emerald green pond at the main entrance. On the first floor, life-size wind chimes fill the air with positive vibes. You can meditate in the compound or just rejuvenate yourself as the wind touches your face. Behind the temple is an open-air Buddha temple, a golden pagoda that makes a beautiful photo prop, a reclining Buddha statue, a residence of monks, a vegetarian restaurant, and a beautifully manicured garden.

Không gian xanh. Thác đẹp. Nên đi bộ từ ngoài vào sẽ có nhiều chỗ để chụp hình sống ảo. Giá vé vào cổng là 60k/ người (mình đi vào thứ sáu). Chỗ này thực sự không có gì để chơi ngoại trừ chụp hình với tắm thác. Hôm ấy mình không tắm mà đi lên cao (nước cạn hơn) ngồi nghịch nước. Nên mua sẵn đồ ăn từ chợ gần đó vào (giá đồ ăn ở chợ khá rẻ). Dọc đường đi vào tụi mình có dừng lại bên bãi cỏ gần con suối chảy qua để vừa ăn vừa nghỉ. Chứ lên đến thác thì cái gì cũng phải thuê tốn tiền lắm. Toilet với thùng rác thì nhiều. Sạch sẽ vệ sinh lắm. Chốt lại là nên đi để nghe tiếng ve kêu tiếng thác chảy nhé.

Đồng Nai không phải là mảnh đất du lịch nhưng lại ẩn giấu trong mình khung cảnh thiên nhiên vô cùng lãng mạn, xinh đẹp – khu du lịch thác Giang Điền. Khu du lịch thuộc huyện Trảng Bom, tỉnh Đồng Nai, cách trung tâm thành phố Hồ Chí Minh 45km là địa điểm dã ngoại được đông đảo các gia đình và bạn trẻ lựa chọn mỗi dịp cuối tuần.
