![]() ![]() Vancouver Island, located in British Columbia, Canada is the largest Pacific island north of Seattle, Washington. It's around 500km long and 100km wide. Many people would agree that Vancouver is a peaceful city. Though there are fewer attractions than most other major cities. The weather is similar to San Francisco and the locals were considerably kind. From afar, the view on the city is unforgettable. The food is good but not something you would come to Vancouver for. There was a very few foreign restaurants and shops. Many Shops lay about Granville Island and the city selling things like artistic brooms to souvenirs for your trip to Vancouver. Chinatown of Vancouver was disappointing, for it was dirty, empty, and was as large as a few blocks. Many homeless people seek refuge here and gather together to help each other. But the forests and greenery around the city was astoundingly beautiful. Although there was small amount of sights to visit, most was worth the money and time, as such would be the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The Bridge stretches 450 feet across, above the Capilano River, 230 feet in the sky. Canadian coins and what they are commonly called. 5 cent is a Nickle, 10 cent is a Dime, 25 cent is a Quarter, $1 is a Loonie, $2 is a Toonie. |
