|Share A Quick Story. If common interests make good marriages, then photographing is the perfect activity for the occasionally disparate travel tastes of Tony. Here I share my stories through the photos. When you look at my photos, you learn something new. You can not say what it is you now know, but you are added to by my photos. You will not be the same. And the same is true for me when I look at yours. I know something more...about you, perhaps, about the world, about myself.
I aimed for my photos to look like paintings or graphics. Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph. Many people think that if they buy a better camera they’ll be able to take better photographs (it's true), but a better camera won’t do a thing for you if you don’t have anything in your head or in your heart. All the technique in the world doesn’t compensate for the inability to notice. If you were to ask me what is the best way to de-stress, I'd say, "Put a camera in your hand." Once we start looking at life through a camera lens, something calm, and centering comes over us. We stop worrying about the past or the future as we immerse ourselves in the present moment, which is the only place we can be when we're seeing photographically. Its heals us and sharing my journey is healing.
